So you found your way here, to this page. The internet has led you here, and as you look upon this page, you may find yourself asking, "Oh great, where did google search spit me out this time?"
Well, then.
When I was first deciding my major at my first university, Cal State Long Beach, I thought I wanted to do both music and art and continue both of my great passions. However, that ended up not happening. I was given a choice: sell my soul to the music department, or arrange for a timeshare with Art?
I ended up choosing art, because between the two of them I knew Art was the one I couldn't live without. (Also, the music department required you to learn piano, and I have tiny, stubby fingers.) I graduated with a degree in Fine Art and an almost-completed certification in Japanese. Then, after a gap year of struggling to find a job and meaning, I started earning my second degree at Cogswell Polytechnical College in Digital Arts and Animation.
I really got my best opportunity there when I joined (see: "got roped into") the Cogscon planning committee, and started producing art prints for advertising, publication and web-hosting imagery. Most of the artwork I've made to this day that I'm most proud of were a part of that convention, and I'm glad for all the hard work I did.
Now I'm working on honing my 2D animation skills. I've done work with Toon Boom Studios, and look forward to more great opportunities as art and technology continue to grow..
